Staff person contacted and they found that the state had produced a brochure on grandparenting initiatives but it was not on the web. Through communications between the leader, the WHA staff member, the Informatics Educator and the State of Illinois Department on Aging, the brochure is now available through the EBVOnline Website and is available to everyone via the Internet.

7-11-00 - “I wrote the government officials about how I feel discriminated against regarding  emissions testing. I did this because I found out that if you own a diesel engine, a trucking company, or city bus you don’t have to be tested. After I write to Dick Durbin and the Governor they replied back that I should send more information to them.”
7-26-00 - “I mainly use the WebTV for routine things, like checking on community activities and communicating through email.”
7-26-00 - “Some CLs are combining blocks to do a joint effort to get neighbors involved with the WebTVs. We’re going to pull them in using www.priceline.com but move beyond that as well.”

At the meeting we will tell them about grocery and gas discounts, etc. I plan to have conversations with my neighbors instead of just passing out the information.”
